Paschal Candles
A paschal candle is the large white pillar candle lit at the Easter Vigil and kept burning in the sanctuary until Pentecost. Parish procurement teams and church-supply distributors usually order them in the window between January and early March, in sizes from 1.5″ to 4″ in diameter and 32″ to 51″ tall.
This page covers six wax-relief styles produced in-house at our Shijiazhuang tabo factory, all with hand applied ornament, interchangeable year bands and a choice of beeswax, paraffin or soy wax. Use the table below to match a style to your market, then open any product for full specs and MOQ.

Choosing Size, Wax and Burn Time
Three variables decide whether a parish reorders from you:
Diameter and height. Most altar stands accept 1.5"–3" diameters. Cathedrals and large baptismal fonts often need 3"–4" with a 48"–51" pillar. If you are quoting a parish, ask for the stand's socket diameter first — it is the single most common cause of a return.
Burn time across the fifty days. The candle must survive from the Easter Vigil to Pentecost. A 3" × 36" pillar typically gives roughly 250–300 burn hours at a moderate flame, which covers the season with room to spare if the wick is trimmed. Smaller 2" pillars are usually chosen by parishes that burn only for services.
Wax. Many parishes specify a beeswax minimum — 51% is the common floor, 100% is the premium tier sold on "no soot, no drips" claims. Paraffin holds the sharpest relief detail and the whitest finish; soy sits between the two on cost and burn character. We supply all three, and will send finished samples in each so your buyer can judge before committing to a container.
