What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom private labels?

For standard styles in stock, the minimum order quantity is relatively low (e.g., 100–500 pieces). For custom scents, special shapes, or fully customized packaging boxes, the minimum order quantity is typically 1,000 to 2,000 pieces per style. Please feel free to email us for more details; we usually respond within 12 hours.

When will you ship out my product after my payment?

When making scented candles, does adding more fragrance oil result in better scent diffusion?

Excessive fragrance oil can weaken heat diffusion and may also cause the wax to sweat, burn poorly, or produce black smoke. The amount added should be based on a balanced ratio.

I read online that burning beeswax candles releases negative ions, which attract dust and purify the air. Is this true?

This is a marketing myth that has been circulating on the internet for a long time. From the perspective of atmospheric chemistry, the burning of candles is a free-radical reaction process that does not produce effective doses of negative ions in the air. Currently, there is no peer-reviewed scientific literature to support the claim that “candles can remove dust like air purifiers.” However, they are still a healthier option. The true value of beeswax and soy wax lies in the fact that they “do not actively release toxins.” Compared to paraffin, which can produce benzene and large amounts of black smoke when burned, the combustion products of all-natural waxes cause negligible irritation to the respiratory tract. Why does my natural soy candle still produce a small amount of black smoke when it burns?

“Completely smoke-free” is also a marketing misrepresentation. As long as there is an open flame and incomplete combustion, any candle—including the highest-quality beeswax and soy wax candles—will produce trace amounts of soot particles. If your soy wax candle produces noticeable black smoke, it’s usually not a problem with the wax itself, but rather a wick that’s too long or a draft. A flame that’s too large can lead to incomplete combustion. Expert Tip: Before lighting the candle each time, be sure to trim the cotton wick to 1/4 inch (about 6 mm), and avoid placing the candle in a drafty area.

Many soy candles on the market are labeled “Soy Blend.” What does that mean?

Consumers should take special note. Because 100% pure soy wax has a softer texture and is prone to natural phenomena such as surface irregularities and frosting, some manufacturers add paraffin wax to the mixture for aesthetic reasons and to control costs, yet still market the product as a “soy wax candle.” If you are seeking products that are truly eco-friendly and hypoallergenic, please look for “100% Natural Soy Wax” when making a purchase. Does black smoke mean I chose the wrong wick?

Black smoke is usually caused by poor-quality wax, impurities, the addition of paraffin, or low-quality fragrance—it’s not just a wick issue.

Cracks indicate that the candle has gone bad.

Cracks are usually caused by temperature shocks, the use of a single type of wax, or rapid cooling; they are not necessarily a sign of poor wax quality.

Is white soy wax of better quality?

Pure soy wax is naturally off-white or slightly yellowish. If it’s too snow-white, it often means it has been heavily processed or blended with other waxes.

A single thick wick is better than multiple thin wicks.
